The Warehouse Stock Agent role is a vital part of Newrest’s operations, and is responsible for safely, accurately and efficiently managing the warehouse inventory. This role ensures that the inventory is accurate daily and that full Inventory counts are done every 10 days.
Responsibilities
Receiving: assisting when needed and the first point of entry for our products.
Restacking pallets for counting, date coding and item numbering.
Rejecting any product that does not meet our quality standards.
Inventory Control
Ensuring all boxes have codes, receipt dates and expiration dates.
First in First Out (FIFO) – First Expired First Out (FEFO).
Ensuring all boxes are closed and on pallets.
Ensuring any decanted products are in plastic crates.
Repacking pallets and putting them away into their correct locations.
Communication
Via messaging platforms.
Via Email for bigger issues and reports.
Use Teams to create and store working documents.
Use Winrest to control our inventory.
Gate Keeping
Recounting any product that leaves the warehouse (Verification at the gate).
Taking photos of products leaving the warehouse with the label showing.
Ensuring products are correctly decanted.
Ensuring the Output Forms (OF) are accurate on Winrest from other departments and from within the warehouse.
Inventory Counts
Daily cycle counts (top moving and highest value).
Change shifts to accommodate the Company inventory counts every 10 days.
Swap another day off to ensure that the full team is at the inventory count.
Participate in the counting and inputting of the inventory from start to finish.
Understand and be accountable for inventory discrepancies.
Reporting of discrepancies with corrective actions to stop issues reoccurring.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in warehouse operations, stock counting, or logistics preferred.
Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Forklift certification is a plus.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
