Pitney Bowes , based at our Grove City, OH facility. You will lead the transport of USPS mail, ensuring timely and compliant deliveries and pickups. Shift Details
11:00 am – 7:00 pm, Monday – Friday (schedule subject to change; some flexibility required). What We Offer

Communicate with the Transportation Supervisor, Manager, and Operations Team regarding special, late, or missing pickups. Coordinate with production to ensure mail is dispatched on time and all transportation tasks are completed. Review pickup slips for USPS supplies and verify container counts. Inspect assigned vehicles daily per PBPS pre‑trip inspection guidelines; report defects immediately. Recommend measures to improve transportation performance. Ensure mail is reviewed for proper dates, presort slugs, and attached pickup slips before loading. Ensure drivers comply with DOT regulations and maintain DOT files. Maintain daily vehicle inspection reports, driver log or route sheet, and USPS equipment usage records. Handle return of damaged or undeliverable mail per internal procedures. Use required cell‑phone applications and maintain vehicle cleanliness. Assist quality control or barcode departments during assigned pickups. Fill in for drivers on any shift with little or no prior notice. Keep work area clean to prevent hazards. Demonstrate safety and security precautions and follow company policies. Maintain regular scheduled attendance. Qualifications
Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license (CDL Class A) and meet DOT CDL requirements. Minimum six months verifiable experience driving a tractor‑trailer with a safe driving record. Minimum age 21. Ability to operate company vehicles and comply with Hours of Service regulations. Maintain a safe, courteous driving record. Work with minimal supervision. Knowledge of USPS regulations and mailing standards. Basic understanding of production processes and mailing separations. Prepare reports and present information professionally to managers, customers, and employees. Communicate with Center Receiving regarding mail concerns. Execute driver quality procedures outlined in the TQM program. Read and understand maps and directions. Work mandatory overtime, including weekends, holidays, or shifts with little notice. Maintain delivery and pickup schedules, meeting deadlines. Apply common sense to execute oral or written instructions. Solve basic problems in transportation. Lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations. Speak and read English sufficiently for daily operations. Our Team
