JOB SUMMARY The Producer Services Analyst is responsible for managing daily natural gas nominations, confirmations, and allocations for producer volumes, ensuring accurate and timely flow of gas from wellhead to market.
This position supports the Producer Services and Marketing teams by compiling and verifying Available for Sale (AFS) volumes, optimizing producer value, and maintaining strong relationships with pipelines, producers, and internal commercial teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES Typical job responsibilities of the Producer Services Analyst include but are not limited to:
Scheduling & Nominations
Prepare, submit, and confirm daily and monthly natural gas nominations.
Coordinate producer receipts and sales point nominations to ensure balanced and optimized flows.
Monitor pipeline capacities, constraints, and operational notices affecting producer flow.
Ensure timely updates and adjustments to nominations based on producer actuals and marketing needs.
AFS Volume Creation & Reporting
Aggregate and validate producer volume data (meter readings, allocations, imbalances).
Calculate and maintain daily Available for Sale (AFS) volumes for each producer and marketing contract.
Reconcile forecasted vs. actual volumes to ensure accuracy of available production.
Communicate AFS updates to the marketing desk to support daily sales and optimization decisions.
Track and resolve discrepancies between scheduled and actual producer volumes.
Data Management & Systems
Input and maintain producer flow and contract data in internal scheduling systems (e.g., GMS, Allegro, etc.).
Validate data from SCADA systems, pipeline EBBs, and producer reports for consistency.
Maintain accurate records of nominations, confirmations, allocations, and imbalances.
Generate daily and monthly reports on producer performance and AFS positions.
Coordination & Communication
Serve as the primary operational contact for producers, gathering flow forecasts and resolving discrepancies.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to align sales nominations with producer supply.
Communicate operational issues, pipeline restrictions, and producer shut‑ins to internal stakeholders.
Interface with pipeline representatives to resolve confirmation and imbalance issues.
Balancing & Compliance
Manage daily and monthly pipeline balancing to minimize penalties and maintain compliance with tariff rules.
Assist in the resolution of pipeline or producer imbalance settlements.
Ensure compliance with all FERC, pipeline, and internal control requirements.
Process Improvement & Support
Identify opportunities to streamline AFS volume creation and data validation processes.
Support the development and enhancement of scheduling tools and reports.
Provide backup and cross‑training support for other schedulers or commercial operations staff as needed.
Perform other duties as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Understanding of natural gas industry standards, market trends, emerging issues and regulatory requirements.
Basic understanding of natural gas gathering compression, processing, and measurement.
Strong understanding of natural gas pipeline operations and scheduling systems.
Working knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for natural gas transportation and measurement preferred.
Demonstrated experience with scenario planning and volume forecasting.
Familiarity with contract structures such as percent‑of‑proceeds (POP), fee‑based, and MVCs (minimum volume commitments) preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and job‑related applications. Uses insights from digital tools to improve performance.
Proficiency in Excel and industry EBB platforms.
Proficiency in relevant tools and software (e.g., Spotfire, Power BI, ETRMs, SCADA, Excel).
Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast‑paced environment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
2‑4 years of experience in natural gas scheduling, marketing operations, or producer services.

Role is based in Houston, Texas (77024).
Travel:
Occasional travel to BKV's offices in Fort Worth, Texas or Denver, Colorado may be required (up to 20%).
Work Environment:
Primarily office‑based with standard business hours; extended hours may be required depending on business needs.
Physical Demands:
