* **SAFETY COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES*** Coordinate and arrange safety committee meetings.* Coordinate daily safety topics for worksite meetings.* Update site workers on any safety policy changes or safety improvements.* Review AHA’s and help with the development and revision of AHA’s* Work with your supervisor to eliminate hazardous conditions and unsafe work practices. Intervene if you believe an employee is engaged in an unsafe work practice.* Assist with accident investigations that occur at your worksite.* Conduct monthly safety inspections of work areas. Document and report all deficiencies* Listen to employee suggestions about safety and bring those that appear to have merit to the SSHO for review.* Conduct yourself in a safe and professional manner in compliance with site policy, OSHA, or EM385 rules.* Gather hazardous condition reports as they are submitted to help determine the focus of Safety meetings.* Attend monthly Safety meetings held by the SSHO.* Participate in new hire training regarding Safety.* Communicate professionally and courteously with customers, and be efficient and timely.* Maintain professionalism in both appearance and demeanor.* Cross-train in all areas and locations, and be willing to learn new skills and tasks.* **CLERK III RESPONSIBILITIES*** Administrative Support.* Data Entry.* Communication (Written & Verbal).* Scheduling.* Technical Office Skills.* Problem Solving.* One (1) year of safety experience preferred.* OSHA 30 certification preferred.* Must be familiar with risk management, compliance, hazard identification, and incident investigation.* Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.* May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.* Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.* Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.* A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.* Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military ID, in accordance with the REAL ID Act.
