Job Summary
Maintain and replenish stock safely and efficiently to meet customer purchasing needs. Provide friendly, courteous customer service while working 6‑8 hour shifts between 9:00 pm and 9:00 am. All duties are performed with honesty and integrity.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
Welcome, engage, serve, and thank customers. Maintain product quality: stock, rotate, face products, and discard outdated and spoiled items. Cut boxes precisely and place small containers on shelves. Maintain a safe, secure, and sanitary work environment. Order, cut, stack, price, and mark merchandise. Build product displays using hand trucks and pallet jacks. Perform all job duties with integrity and provide friendly, courteous customer service. Train other employees as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Consistently provide friendly, courteous service to internal and external customers. Exhibit strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Work nights in a 24/7 operation, including weekends and holidays. Lift, reach, stack, and maneuver objects up to 40 lbs. (occasionally 50 lbs.) Push and pull hand trucks and pallet jacks with substantial weight. Stand, walk, and move rapidly for long periods. Flex, bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently. Ensure safe and accurate completion of work activities. Perform repetitive work accurately with mental alertness. Perform basic math calculations. Learn and memorize product locations, check stand and keyboard procedures, company policies, PLU codes, inventory control, and shipping and receiving procedures. Use manual dexterity and good hand‑eye coordination for freight handling. Work in varying weather conditions, including freezers and coolers. Conduct visual inspections of merchandise placement. Must be 18 years of age or older. Perform primary duties efficiently and accurately.
Additional Requirements
Food Handlers Certification (per state laws).
Machines Operated
Electric and manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, garbage and cardboard compactor. Fork lift as needed. Box knife.
