As a Customer Service Assistant, you’ll package groceries and help customers transport their purchases from the store to their vehicles. Key Responsibilities
Assist customers in unloading merchandise from baskets.
Package groceries and help customers transport/unload to their vehicles.
Help customers locate merchandise.
Gather baskets and pick up trash inside and outside the store.
Maintain and stock bag areas; return products to proper locations.
Stock and stage bags; stock check‑stand supplies.
Distribute bud‑bucks to registers, replace anti‑fatigue mats.
Relocate baskets for department setup; perform red basket fill‑up/retrieval.
Clean, mop, dust, sweep, vacuum check‑stand area, Return Center, and CCO area to maintain store cleanliness and safety.
Required Background Completion of Company Orientation and Basics of Safety training (upon hire).
Qualifications & Physical Requirements
Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
Ability to work with customers and stay attentive to their needs.
Maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency standards.
Perform detailed and precise tasks while standing for at least 5.5 hours per 8‑hour shift (and at least 2.5–5.5 hours for frequently required tasks). Lift up to 100 lbs, with safe lifting practices.
Ability to reach, lift, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, climb stairs, and work in cold, hot, loud, and wet conditions as needed.
