The Impact You'll Make Danfoss in Freeport, IL has a 3rd shift Kit Operator. The Kit Operator operates and maintains setups of conventional, special purpose, and numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers to fabricate and assemble metallic and nonmetallic parts by performing the following duties.
Pay range for the position is
$20.34
to
$21.00
per hour; hourly rate noted above is the middle of this range. 3rd Shift position offers
10.0% shift premium .
What You’ll Be Doing
Must be able to operate multiple machines.
Follows all standard work, control plans, all processes, and quality guidelines.
Perform all Total Productive Environment (TPE) activities as required.
Verify that machine is running at proper cycle time.
Secures holding fixtures, cutting tools and materials for conventional, special purpose, and numerical control (NC) machines.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma/(GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
