Job Description Summary A Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the daily flow of clinical supplies between the pharmacy and nursing departments. Functions include inventory sourcing, purchasing, maintaining products, and ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.
Job Responsibilities
Direct patient contact to ascertain supply needs as designated by the clinician, establish relationships with clients, communicate information, generate orders, coordinate shipping schedules, and confirm deliveries with nurses and pharmacists.
Purchase all supplies for inventory following correct procedures, source cost‑effective products, minimize freight costs, and stay knowledgeable about product usage.
Maintain accurate inventory, address discrepancies, participate in physical inventories, implement inventory control with minimum order quantities, monitor equipment tracking, and obtain cost‑effective rental equipment.
Observe legal and ethical guidelines for safeguarding confidentiality of patient and proprietary information.
Participate in assessing, managing, and reporting medication‑related incidents and equipment errors; complete QAR forms and forward them to the general manager.
Perform on‑call duties as required.
Accept other responsibilities assigned by the general manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities No supervisory responsibilities.
Basic Education And/or Experience Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
Basic Qualifications & Interests
Experience communicating verbally on phone, face‑to‑face, and in writing to various audiences, work groups, team, company management, and external vendors.
Basic PC skills: operating a computer, using a mouse, opening and closing programs, printing documents, accessing information online.
Basic email skills and internet use.
Travel Requirements
Willing to travel at least 50% of the time for business purposes.
Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)
Prior experience working in a warehouse or delivery setting.
Salary Pay Range: $16.45‑$26.49 per hour, determined by education, experience, and market data.
