Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties in and around the community grounds as assigned.
Complete all service request repairs and maintenance of grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment, and vehicles in a timely and cost‑efficient manner.
Tasks may include: repairing wall or floor coverings; fixing furniture and fixtures; doing basic plumbing work; performing minor electrical repairs; fixing appliances; painting and refurbishing projects; working with heating, air, refrigeration, carpet, and hard‑surface systems; and “make‑ready” rooms as assigned.
Qualifications
One year of maintenance experience.
Ability to be on call if needed.
General understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and code compliance systems.
Knowledge of OSHA, fire prevention, and safety regulations.
Ability to respond to emergency calls outside scheduled hours.
Strong multitasking capability.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient organizational and time‑management skills.
Demonstrates good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
