Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse Assignment – Macon, GA
Soliant is seeking an experienced
Emergency Department Registered Nurse
for a
travel assignment in Macon, Georgia . This opportunity is ideal for ED RNs who are confident working in a
high‑acuity, Level I trauma environment
and enjoy being part of a fast‑paced, collaborative emergency team.
Assignment Details
Location:
Macon, GA
Contract Length:
13 weeks
Schedule:
Full‑time, 36 hours per week
Shifts Available:
12‑hour day or night shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
Weekends:
Required per rotation
On‑Call:
None
Holidays:
Travelers will work a portion of major holidays
Start Date:
Candidates can start as soon as possible
Emergency Department Overview
Large, busy emergency department with surge capacity
Level I Trauma Center
handling a wide range of critical cases
Common patient presentations include:
Chest pain and stroke alerts
Trauma and motor‑vehicle collisions
Mental‑health emergencies
Cardiac and medical emergencies
Typical RN ratios vary by assigned zone and acuity
Strong interdisciplinary support including charge nurses, CNAs, respiratory therapy, hospitalists, intensivists, and a dedicated transport team
EMR:
Epic
Requirements
Active
RN license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
required
Ability to pass EKG competency
Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
Comfortable working in a
Level I trauma setting
Experience managing critical drips and high‑acuity patients
Travel experience preferred, but
first‑time travelers are welcome
