Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Operator (Forklift) to work in Romeoville, Illinois.
This is a permanent, full‑time position requiring immediate hire.
Position Details
Location: Romeoville, Illinois
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
Schedule: Thursday – Saturday 6:00 am – 6:00 pm; Wednesday 6:00 am – 12:00 pm (flexible with staffing needs)
Seniority Level: Entry Level
Compensation
Hourly Pay: $23.00 per hour
Additional Pay: $0.75 per hour when assigned to the C shift
Pay Frequency: Weekly (paid every Friday)

Responsibilities
Perform loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting activities.
Maintain accurate picking and packing, audit associates, stage products, and load/unload trucks.
Handle daily paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Minimum one year of warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience (preferred).
Valid Forklift Operator License.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Proactive, accurate, and detail‑oriented.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Physical capability to lift, push, pull up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working a flexible shift schedule.
Adherence to health and safety protocols.
High degree of initiative and independent decision‑making
Important Note Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, a motor‑vehicle records check, a roadway test, and/or background checks or badging required by the customer assignment.
