Description Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our COPC Sports, Spine & Joint office in Westerville, OH.
Full Time/Benefits Eligible
Schedule - Monday - Friday - First Shift Hours
Westerville, OH
Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for radiologic procedures. Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety. Responsible for explaining procedure to patient and answer questions.
Use a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials as well as various media.
Ensure equipment is in working order and reports malfunctions to appropriate person(s).
Process routine paperwork as necessary.
Maintain examination rooms, stocks necessary medical and radiologic supplies.
Attend required staff and educational meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Completion of course in Radiologic Technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist
Current Ohio Department of Health Radiology license
