Maintenance Worker

Salary Range:
$16.00-$25.00.
Responsibilities
Daily physical plant rounds and inspection to identify maintenance issues.
Preventive maintenance rounds for the physical plant.
Minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs, including painting.
Correct lighting and cosmetic issues as needed during daily plant rounds.
Check maintenance request logs at least three times a day and make appropriate corrections.
Perform furniture moves, equipment repairs, and problem‑solving tasks as requested by staff and supervisors.
Work closely with staff to improve the quality of living quarters for residents.
Perform any assigned special projects as designated by the Maintenance Director.
Collaborate with the Maintenance Director to improve overall function of systems within the facility.
Position Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum two years of on‑the‑job experience.
Minimum one year of construction or professional trade experience is preferred.
Experience with multiple hand and power tools is preferred.
