Customer Service Associate – Walgreens
Base pay range:
$15.00/hr – $17.50/hr
Responsibilities
Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Register sales on assigned cash register, provide courteous and efficient checkout service.
Engage customers by greeting and offering assistance with products and services; resolve issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
Model and share customer service best practices, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Recommend items, trade‑ups, or companion items to customers.
Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
Keep counters and shelves clean, well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records.
Check in and price merchandise as required.
Implement company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise.
Assist with food item separation and product placement per policies.
Rotate consumables using FIFO method.
Has working knowledge of store systems and store equipment.
Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport, poster print, and creative machine.
Assume web pick‑up responsibilities (monitor orders, pick items, deliver to customers).
Assist with exterior and interior maintenance for a clean store condition.
Maintain respectful relationships with coworkers and comply with all company policies.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Training & Personal Development
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.
Basic Qualifications
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
At least six months of experience in a retail environment.
Prior work experience with Walgreens.
Fluent in English (Except in Puerto Rico).
Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
