Job Description You will be the face of our restaurant, handling in‑person and telephone orders, ensuring accurate and efficient service during our busiest hours. Your role involves managing equipment, preparing product, and maintaining a clean, organized environment. You’ll also be trained to handle a variety of tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
Job Requirements
Minimum age 16 years old.
Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation for occasional deliveries (optional).
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
General Job Duties
Operate all restaurant equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product and assemble orders.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility daily.
Communication Skills
Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions & Skills
Perform basic math operations accurately and quickly (may use a calculator).
Make correct monetary change.
Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Coordinate hand‑eye movements with speed and precision in a fast environment.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Work Conditions
Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F+ in some work areas.
Hot surfaces/tools from ovens up to 500°F or higher.
Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler areas.
Handling of fumes, cornmeal dust, and other kitchen odors.
Additional Physical Requirements
Standing for the majority of shift; walking on ceramic tile with linoleum.
Lifting up to 50 pounds and lifting/stacking cases up to 72” high.
Carrying large cans (approx. 3 lb) and occasionally heavier items such as 30 lb pizza sauce.
Pushing or pulling trays on dollies; force up to 7.5 lb needed.
Frequent stooping, bending, crouching, and reaching up to 72”.
Continuous use of hands, forearms, wrists, and coordination for tasks such as shaping dough, handling pizza peel, and assembling boxes.
Training & Advancement Orientation and on‑the‑job training are provided. Employees who excel may progress to management or franchise ownership positions.
