ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers and answering questions with a positive attitude.
Safely operate meat cutting equipment and tools to trim pork, beef and poultry following productivity standards.
Rotate product, clean and neatly stack like items together, date product, and handle any loose or leaking product.
Make grinds with tubes or trim, memorize company standards on fat content and package specs, place loafs in tray by hand, blend product for consistent texture and color.
Maintain high sanitization and presentation standards.
Assist in other duties as assigned and help ensure store success.
Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 18 years of age.
Friendly and prompt customer service skills.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and problem-solve.
Strong teamwork and collaboration ability.
Attention to detail, consistency, and a forward-focused mindset.
Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Passion for serving others.
Bilingual abilities are a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Meat clerks work primarily in a meat area with a temperature of 38–45 °F. Duties include reaching, bending, balancing, carrying product up to 100 lb, repetitive arm and hand movements, eye‑hand coordination, and standing for long periods.
