Job Title: Phlebotomist II

Shift/Time Zone: M-F 8A-5P
Responsibilities Represent the face of the company to patients who come in for health routine or insights into life‑defining health decisions.
Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
Maintain direct contact with patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures and drawing blood specimens skillfully, safely and accurately.
Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence, sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.
Be assigned to a doctor's office, patient service center, or other locations as business needs dictate.
Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
Maintain a safe and professional environment.
Perform verification of patient demographic info and initials, including patient signature post‑venipuncture to verify tubes were labeled correctly.
Maintain required records and documentation.
Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public.
Job Requirements Ability to provide quality, error‑free work in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal onsite supervision.
Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collection.
Flexible and available based on staffing needs (weekends, holidays, on‑call, overtime). Committed to all company policies, dress code, health and safety, and guiding principles.
Make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
Reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record (if applicable). Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations with minimal notice.
Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high‑volume setting.
Demonstrate superior customer focus, communicate openly and transparently with peers, supervisors and patients, and accelerate and embrace change and knowledge of the business.
Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.
Required Education High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training.
Preferred phlebotomy certification.
Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience 1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Customer service in a retail or service environment highly preferred.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
