Cashier
As a Cashier at Wingstop, you are responsible for delivering fast, friendly, and excellent customer service during the order-taking process, whether by phone or in person. He/she/they will have to be quick and efficient in communicating with team members in both the front of house and back of house to make sure our guests are satisfied and have received their orders on time.
Qualifications / Education / Experience
Experience using a computer and register (POS) system preferred
Food Handler Certification is required.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Available to work flexible hours that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, late nights, and/or holidays.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Wingstop.
Greet all guests in a friendly and welcoming manner whether by phone or in person.
Place orders for guests in-person and over the phone; upsell and maintain knowledge of menu and sauce descriptions, along with new items and promotions.
Be knowledgeable on menu offerings, sauce descriptions, and promotions to better assist guests in making order recommendations and answering questions.
Monitor that all orders are ready within the quoted guest order readiness times.
Verify the accuracy and presentation of all guest orders before delivery to guests to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
Strong cash handling skills to accurately process cash, credit card and gift card transactions, and balance of register at end of shift.
Assist in maintaining a clean workplace; keep the Front of House (FOH) clean and stocked; including restrooms. Restocking products during periods of downtime or as directed.
Practice safe food handling procedures by following all safety and sanitation guidelines; promote safety in the workplace.
Maintain a professional and presentable appearance according to the company's Uniform Standards
Receive and handle complaints from guests and guide the manager on duty if a problem requires escalation.
Leave guests with a long-lasting and positive impression of their WINGSTOP experience.

Cashier and restaurant experience a plus
Ability to lift and carry, push, or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment.
