Location: Fort Wayne, IN or 50% travel to Fort Wayne, IN

Compensation: $179,000 - $223,000 base salary + executive-level bonus

We are a fast-growing, privately held company based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, providing customized truck and trailer rental solutions to utility, infrastructure, and construction professionals across the U.S. We focus on delivering the best equipment and service in the industry.

We are seeking a Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead FP&A, Pricing, and Business Intelligence functions. This high-impact role reports directly to the CFO and partners with executive leadership to drive data-backed decisions across the business.

This role is specifically focused on FP&A, analytics, reporting automation, pricing strategy, and business intelligence, and is not centered on treasury, accounting, or traditional finance operations. The ideal candidate is already operating at the VP level with deep experience in these areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the FP&A functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
  • Transition reporting from Excel to Tableau or Power BI, automating and making data accessible and transparent.
  • Develop a scalable pricing strategy and model that integrates into systems and supports quoting processes.
  • Create business intelligence tools and dashboards to enhance visibility and decision-making across departments.
  • Support board and executive reporting by clearly explaining results, trends, and performance drivers.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and IT teams to align pricing strategies and execution.
  • Improve planning and forecasting processes to support rapid company growth.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive FP&A experience, with at least 3-5 years in a VP or senior leadership role.
  • Proven success in pricing strategy, business intelligence, and financial systems implementation.
  • Experience leading data transformation efforts and automating reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to executive teams and boards.
  • Experience in rental, leasing, asset-heavy, or industrial services industries is a plus.
  • Candidates with CFO or VP Finance profiles focused on treasury, cash, or accounting are not suitable.
