Responsibilities The contractor is responsible for performing complex data queries to extract, cleanse, collapse and sort data tables from multiple relational databases; using DataFlux to conduct complex matches of multiple datasets; combining datasets from multiple sources according to complex protocol; performing complex statistical analyses using SAS and other statistical and graphical software packages; providing aggregated data for display on public facing dashboard; and creating status reports to monitor progress. Generate quality assurance reports; create data visualization to support program evaluation and continuous quality improvement. Other data activities include validating SAS programming code for data requests, reports and analysis; evaluate the matching of STI, HCV, HIV registries and other disease specific registries; conduct analysis of match results; respond to requests for HEED data from the Committee for Matched Data Access (CMDA); serve as liaison to dashboard developer; and collaborate with other program staff. Qualifications 70 months of experience in the development of study design for research and evaluation, with the ability to perform complex statistical analysis using SAS, R, Tableau and other statistical and graphical software packages. 60 months of experience in the development of SAS programming code for data requests, reports and analysis in a health department setting after receiving a bachelor's degree Bachelor's Degree in Statistics or Epidemiology, or any related field of science 24 months of experience using DataFlux to match multiple datasets. 60 months of experience using SQL or SAS SQL to join, aggregate, and analyse data. 24 months using and creating SAS macro variables and programs. 24 months cleaning and analysing data from communicable disease data systems and patient registries. Education A bachelor's degree in computer science and Statistics or 3-5+ years of experience in SAS programming, or a master's degree, and strong knowledge on data warehousing and data visualization tools.
