Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on both commercial and industrial settings.

Gold Shift Hours: 7:15pm-4:00am

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Conduct industrial cleaning duties to ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Maintain restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and ensuring cleanliness.
• Carry out custodial duties such as trash removal, window washing, and floor care including buffing and polishing.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and waxing is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
