An established manufacturer is looking for an experienced CWI to join their team. Qualified candidates will be self-directed and quality minded.

Qualified individuals will possess the following skills:
Required Qualifications- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of welding inspection experience in manufacturing or fabrication
- Familiar with AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, and other applicable welding codes
- Proficient in visual inspections and common NDT methods (PT, MT preferred)
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
- NDT Level I or II certifications (PT, MT, UT)
- Experience with quality systems (ISO, AS9100) and in regulated industries (defense, aerospace)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform visual , dimensional , and NDT inspections in accordance with AWS, ASME, and GTI specifications S1.1.
- Read and interpret welding symbols, engineering drawings, WPS, and PQR documentation
- Support welder qualification testing and maintain certification records
- Detect and document defects; issue NCRs and participate in root-cause analysis and corrective action
- Provide real-time feedback and technical coaching to welding teams
- Prepare inspection reports and enter data into quality systems.
- Support quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
