This role plays a critical part in the deployment and maintenance of our server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering teams across systems, networking, and data center operations to support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual infrastructure in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Assemble, rack, and cable new server installations and network hardware. Perform server builds in accordance with documentation and engineering standards. Wiring & Connectivity Execute precise cable management for power and network cabling. Ensure proper labeling and documentation of all cabling and connectivity. Power & Cooling Planning Collaborate with facilities and engineering teams to assess and plan for power load distribution, PDU utilization, and cooling capacity. Monitor thermal conditions and recommend adjustments to maintain optimal data center climate. Actively monitor PDU, Cooling and system metrics to ensure power and colling metrics are within acceptable limits Troubleshooting & Maintenance Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware, cabling, and connectivity issues. Assist engineering team with troubleshooting of physical devices including GPU reseating and RMA process. Perform preventative maintenance and support emergency repairs as needed. Documentation & Communication Maintain up-to-date records of rack elevations, connectivity diagrams, and hardware inventory. Work with Operations and Finance to track delivery, receipt, inventory of equipment. Provide clear, timely updates to engineering teams and stakeholders. Work closely with system engineers, network engineers, and other data center technicians to deliver and maintain scalable infrastructure. Support remote hands tasks for internal teams as required. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a data center operation, hardware support, or IT infrastructure role. Strong understanding of rack installation, structured cabling, and hardware troubleshooting. Working knowledge of server and network hardware from major OEMs (e.g., Dell, HPE, Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto). Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools and environmental sensors. Ability to lift and install equipment up to 50 pounds. Excellent attention to detail and adherence to documentation practices. Familiarity with basic power and thermal principles in a data center environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, or similar. Prior experience with Storage Flash, GPU and Nvidia Switches Prior experience managing infrastructure hypervisors and operating systems (Linux/ Windows) Familiarity with remote console systems (IPMI, iDRAC, etc.). Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
