Shift/Schedule

: Nights, 3×12s, 36 hours/week

Job Responsibilities: · Assume responsibility for an assigned group of pediatric ICU patients · Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments · Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments · Obtain and monitor physiological data; observe patient condition and intervene as needed · Administer medications as prescribed, including IV infusions and blood products · Deliver competent, safe, and effective patient care · Communicate care plans with patients and families during hospitalization and at discharge · Educate patients and families on hospital procedures · Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel · Delegate tasks to support staff · Perform other duties as assigned
