Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) Compensation · The pay for this position is $48.69 per hour. · Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment. · A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates. Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) Highlights · This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs. · The required availability for this position is 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST, Monday through Friday, with on-call required every 3 weeks ($25 per day, $50 per weekend day/holiday).
Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities Assess the health of individuals served and implement care plans Ensure health maintenance and disease prevention; provide case management as needed Supervise care plans and staff members when applicable Observe, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing support for well, chronic, or acutely ill individuals in a community or small facility setting Collaborate with other health professionals/providers in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and services Coordinate communications and actions of various disciplines regarding health and safety supports Manage medications, including ordering, monitoring, discontinuation, and proper disposal Report changes in client conditions to physicians and ensure transcription of physician phone orders Complete daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual nursing documentation as required Maintain equipment, furnishings, and supplies to prevent the spread of disease Supervise LPN/VNs and train unlicensed staff on person-specific health, safety, and disease prevention needs Schedule and follow up on health-related appointments and hospitalizations Provide new employee training and annual recertification training for health and safety topics
