Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription: Tamayo Federal Solutions, LLC, a Department of Defense contractor, is now hiring a Systems Architect to support the customer and shall provide system administration services to the Government for both physical and virtual hosted applications. You will provide all services necessary to ensure the efficient operation of all physical and virtual servers. You will support Government requirements to maintain data center computing, storage, and networking capabilities at Government data centers and within associated commercial cloud environments. We are seeking a Systems Architect that will be part of an energetic, results-driven team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Design architecture including software, hardware, and communications to support total requirements Provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces Identify, assess, and present options for meeting functional and technical requirements Design high-level system diagrams and architectural documentation Ensure systems comply with open systems architecture standards Evaluate and solve problems of workflows, organization, and planning Develop architectural solutions that integrate legacy and modern systems Research, identify, select, and test technology products Establish and implement technology integration strategies Stay current with industry trends and new technologies Work on advanced, complex technical projects Provide architectural guidance to development teams Requirements: Required: Must be a US with an active Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field At least 5 years of experience in systems architecture Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles Experience with architectural frameworks and patterns Understanding of system integration concepts Experience with technology evaluation and selection Desired: Experience with DoD/Navy programs Knowledge of DoD architectural frameworks Cloud architecture experience SAFe certification Security architecture expertise Experience with legacy system modernization Knowledge of microservices architecture Understanding of DevSecOps practices Special Requirements: Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearances Must understand DoD architectural requirements Must maintain technical currency Must be able to work with classified systems when required Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearances Must understand DoD architectural requirements Must maintain technical currency Must be able to work with classified systems when required Tamayo Federal Solutions, LLC offers a full package of benefits and competitive salary, excellent group medical, vision, and dental programs; 401(k); tuition reimbursement; employee training, development, and education programs; advancement opportunities; and much more!
