About Your Role
As the HR Generalist at iRent Everything, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our employees and ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations. This hands-on position will manage payroll, administer benefits, support employee relations, oversee compliance, and help foster a positive workplace culture. You’ll work closely with leadership, managers, and staff to ensure HR policies and practices align with business goals and uphold the integrity of the iRent Everything brand.
Job Description
As the HR Generalist at iRent Everything, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our employees and ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations. This hands-on position will manage payroll, administer benefits, support employee relations, oversee compliance, and help foster a positive workplace culture. You’ll work closely with leadership, managers, and staff to ensure HR policies and practices align with business goals and uphold the integrity of the iRent Everything brand.
This role requires bilingual fluency in English and Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce and ensure accessibility of HR resources for all employees.
What You’ll Do
Payroll Administration
Process weekly payroll accurately and timely for all employees
Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with wage and hour laws
Manage reporting and reconciliations related to payroll taxes and deductions
Benefits Administration Coordinate employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans
Serve as the primary contact for employee benefits questions and issues
Manage open enrollment, new hire enrollment, and ongoing eligibility updates
Employee Relations & HR Support Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures
Assist in resolving workplace concerns in a fair and consistent manner
Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation and exit interviews
Translate and deliver HR communications, documents, and training in both English and Spanish
Compliance & Recordkeeping Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Prepare and maintain accurate employee files and HR records
Support audits, reporting requirements, and HR metrics tracking
HR Programs & Initiatives Assist with performance management cycles and employee engagement programs
Support learning, training, and development initiatives
Collaborate with HR leadership on projects to improve processes and employee experience
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of HR generalist experience, with direct responsibility for benefits
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required – both verbal and written communication
Knowledge of HR laws, compliance requirements, and best practices
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (Bamboo HR, or similar)
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Professional certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP) a plus
