The Restaurant Manager works with limited supervision and is responsible for the daily operations of the FOH/BOH functions, ensuring company standards, customer experience, professional leadership, and direction of employees. New managers complete an extensive Manager in Training (MIT) program to set them up for success as a top‑notch leader within the Outback family.

Responsibilities
Contribute to the success of the restaurant’s operations: FOH & BOH
Lead a team to success, provide mentorship, and create an enjoyable environment
Optimize profits with labor, food & beverage costs, through proper ordering and inventory practices; handle policies & procedures and maintain compliance
Increase customer satisfaction while managing standards of service
Continuously grow the business through sales and marketing
Recruit new talent for future staff openings
Committed to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards; ensure quality of food with proper safety equipment and recipe specs
Passionate about the taste and temperature of each dish and perfect plate presentations
Demonstrate immaculate standards while maintaining an organized, “like new” restaurant
Requirements
2+ years of management experience within a restaurant supporting up to 50+ staff; preferably full‑service restaurant experience
Demonstrated success in a leadership role
Flexible to work at other locations in the region when needed
Minimum 21 years of age
For California‑based positions: Responsible Beverage Service Certifications required (can be completed during training or up to 60 days after start)
