Job Summary And Qualifications
As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in line with department standards and state regulations. You will collaborate with medical providers, advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, and uphold the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience.
What You Will Do In This Role
Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in status.
Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration.
Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in case of unintended responses.
Respond promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipate needs, and resolve them.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow‑up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex terminology.
What Qualifications You Will Need
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Registered Nurse (RN) certification.
Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
1 year of experience in a Med/Surg setting.
No travel required.
