I’m hiring! I’m looking for an exceptional Insurance Sales Representative to join me in running two successful State Farm agencies. This is not your typical desk job — you’ll wear many hats, balancing client relationships, projects, and leadership responsibilities. For the right person, this is truly a career-defining opportunity. You’ll work side‑by‑side with me, learn something new every day, and make a real impact on thousands of lives annually. My goal? To prepare you to run your own successful agency within 2‑3 years. Not just to take over my job, but to build your own thriving business — one you can be proud of.
5 Reasons This Role Is Exciting
Make a Meaningful Impact.
Everything we do is driven by one mission making things better for other people. Your work will directly improve our clients’ lives and position you as a trusted leader in the insurance industry.
Grow Every Day.
This role is a powerful growth opportunity. You’ll be challenged regularly, learning new skills and gaining experience that will push you professionally and personally.
Earn Competitive Compensation.
We value your skills and dedication, and you’ll be fairly compensated based on your experience. This job is designed to move you forward in both career and life.
Shape Your Role.
As you get comfortable working with me, you’ll have the chance to tailor your responsibilities to fit your strengths and interests. Together, we’ll co‑create a role that keeps you motivated and playing to your best skills.
Advance Your Career.
For a top performer, this role is a springboard to leadership. I want you ready to own and run your own profitable agency in a few years. While promotions aren’t guaranteed, your hard work will put you in a prime position for advancement.
What We’re Looking For
Proactive Problem‑Solver.
You see what needs to be done and take initiative without waiting for direction. You ask questions, take ownership, and find solutions.
Strong Communicator.
You write clearly and persuasively and can build genuine relationships through your communication—whether by phone, email, or in person.
Organizational Whiz.
You excel at juggling priorities, managing logistics, and keeping projects on track, even when things get hectic.
Tech‑Savvy with a Numbers Mindset.
Our business runs on data and technology. You don’t have to be a programmer, but you must be comfortable with software and able to interpret metrics.
Positive Energy & Team Player.
You bring enthusiasm and a can‑do attitude. You want to be part of a team that’s focused on collective success, and you contribute positively every day.
What You’ll Do — Client‑Focused and Impactful
Meet with Clients One‑on‑One.
The heart of this role is building real relationships. You’ll meet with current and prospective clients to understand their needs, educate them on their options, and help them make confident insurance decisions.
Outbound Calling to Prospects and Clients.
While meeting face‑to‑face is key, a significant portion of sales happens by phone. You’ll work the phones to generate new business and follow up on leads.
Manage Daily Communications.
You’ll handle emails and messages from clients, underwriters, and team members, ensuring timely and clear responses.
Plan and Execute Community Events.
We’ll develop event strategies together, and you’ll lead the coordination and execution—helping us connect with the community and grow our presence.
Optimize Business Systems.
Each month we’ll review our processes and customer experience. You’ll help identify improvements and run key parts of our operation to keep things running smoothly and efficiently.
About Me — Your Partner in Success You’ll work closely with me every day. I’m passionate about continuous improvement, focusing on sustainable systems rather than quick wins. I’ve been a full‑time business owner for 20 years, running one of the highest‑performing agencies nationwide out of 19,000+ offices. While proud of what we’ve built, I’m always learning and growing. I’m committed to being the best teammate possible and expect the same from those I work with. You’ll also be joining a strong, hardworking team, so bring your A‑game!
