As a Market Development Representative, you will partner with off‑premise locations—grocery, convenience, and liquor stores—to achieve volume and distribution sales goals for Sazerac’s diverse spirits portfolio. Each day presents new opportunities to connect consumers with their favorite brands. Craft solutions to boost business for assigned accounts, ensuring Sazerac brands rise in market share. Build and educate customers using consumer and category trends to drive sales. Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution. Aim for volume objectives across core brands. Implement programs for distribution, merchandising, display, and retail promotional goals. Build rapport with customers, understanding their needs. Serve as communication lead between customers, wholesalers, and internal teams. Track and improve KPIs to reach goals. Job responsibilities may vary by state due to regulatory requirements. Qualifications / Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Experience: Minimum 1 year of field sales in alcohol‑beverage or CPG industries. New graduates should have an internship or sales role in CPG and/or sales competition experience. Results‑Driven: Proven volume achievements and ability to deliver on distribution and promotional goals. Technical Savvy: Skilled in sales analytics and tools to identify trends and produce measurable results. Mobility: Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory. Schedule: Flexibility for non‑traditional hours, including evenings and weekends. Location: Live in or near the territory. Expenses: Ability to cover ordinary and essential business expenses; reimbursement provided. Compliance: Must obtain a solicitor’s permit in any state of operation. Culture and Benefits
