Job Title: Mechanical Lead Engineer
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA
Position Type: FTE/Permanent
Responsibilities
Designing visual concepts using CAD Design tools (Circuit Breakers).
Work with cross functional teams.
Understanding SE needs/requirements and working accordingly to create CAD model.
Lead, create, approve and/or review parametric models and drawings of electro-mechanical equipment, according to design intent.
Perform analysis (tolerance) to ensure the adequate performance, quality, and reliability of the product.
Manage GD&T methodologies and manufacturability of product.
Coordinate prototypes build ups from the model shop.
Select Engineering materials for various components.
Tolerance Analysis of components and assemblies.
Create and/or update DFMEA.
Product configuration control (Bills of materials, engineering drawings, product change requests, deviations, qualification).
Experience in engineering or manufacturing processes is a plus.
Experience using Creo and Windchill (PDM).
Qualifications
BE in Mechanical Engineering.
