This position is responsible for assisting the Complex Safety Manager with clerical and administrative functions. Responsibilities include entering data from weekly safety inspections; generating work orders related to safety inspections; conducting weekly safety inspections; participating on the Safety and Ergonomic Team; traveling to company-sponsored training workshops; and maintaining training records for incipient fire brigade, HAZMAT, forklift, pallet jack, and dust mask/respirator programs.Additional duties include conducting training sessions; submitting newsletter articles; acting as backup for the medical receptionist and supply room personnel; inspecting safety equipment; maintaining records; distributing safety incentive rewards for the complex; updating the safety manual; and performing other duties as assigned.**REQUIREMENTS:**

**Education:** High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

**Experience:** One (1) or more years of related experience.

**Computer Skills:** Standard computer skills required.

**Communication Skills:** Strong verbal and written communication skills.

**Special Knowledge:** Knowledge of mathematics, grammar, office equipment, and business practices is a plus.

**Supervisory:** N/A
