Manchester Veterinary Clinic We are hiring for a part-time Veterinary Customer Service Representative to join our amazing team! The role is part-time.
Our Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate would act as a role model in demonstrating our values. They would collaborate with the practice manager, medical director, associate veterinarians, and/or other supervisors to foster teamwork and facilitate a productive, professional working environment.
Role Responsibilities
Greet clients and patients warmly upon arrival, creating a welcoming and professional first impression.
Answer multi-line phone system.
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients.
Schedule appointments.
Process payments, prepare invoices, and handle financial transactions accurately.
Ensure the lobby is clean and organized.
Educate clients on wellness plans, preventative care, and post-visit instructions to promote long-term pet health.
Demonstrate compassion and professionalism in every client interaction, reinforcing trust and the human-animal bond.
Experience & Skills Requirements
Previous experience in a veterinary, medical, or customer service setting preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort using computers and veterinary software.
Compassionate and professional demeanor with clients and pets.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
High school diploma or equivalent, AAS or higher preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, squatting, reach, standing, and walking throughout the day.
Must be comfortable working in an environment with animals of all sizes, including exposure to noise, odors, and pet dander.
Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with a rate ranging from $17-$19/hr. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
