SALARY RANGE:
The anticipated salary range for this role is $65,000 to $95,000 annually. This range reflects a good faith estimate based on the targeted level for the role and typical compensation benchmarks across U.S. locations. Actual compensation may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience, geographical location, and internal alignment.
SUMMARY
The Inventory Supervisor will oversee and manage all inventory operations. This role involves coordinating and optimizing activities within the inventory cage, ensuring accurate tracking, storage, and movement of materials. The supervisor ensures compliance with applicable regulations, maintains inventory accuracy, and supports operational needs through effective control and organization of stock.

Develop and implement strategies to streamline and optimize inventory management processes and procedures.
Oversee kitting operations and ensure accuracy of inventory transactions.
Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure vendor compliance and proper handling of incoming materials.
Work with Procurement to maintain timely availability of parts and materials to support production needs.
Lead and mentor the inventory team, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training to ensure accuracy and adherence to best practices.
Ensure all inventory activities comply with government regulations, including security, safety, and environmental requirements.
Utilize inventory management software and other technologies to enhance accuracy, traceability, and efficiency of inventory operations.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in inventory management
Strong knowledge working within corporate ERP/MRP systems
Strong knowledge of export control regulations, including ITAR and EAR as they relate to inventory and material handling.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (Quality, Procurement, Production, Engineering).
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail while managing multiple priorities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
APICS/ASCM CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification.
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma training/certification.
Prior experience working within AS9100, ISO 9001, or other aerospace/defense quality management systems.
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification).

The role may require occasional activities such as walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and bending. Vision is necessary for reading printed materials and a computer screen, while hearing and speech are essential for effective communication both in person and over the telephone. Additionally, the position may necessitate travel by air or automobile. Employees may be required to use personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coats, to ensure safety in the production environment. Employees may be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
