Role Description This is a temporary, hybrid role for an Audio Visual Technician located in New Orleans, LA, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Audio Visual Technician will support the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of AV equipment for various events. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining audio, video, and lighting systems, as well as ensuring all equipment functions optimally during events.
Qualifications
Proficiency with Audio Visual (AV) Systems and expertise in Projectors
Strong skills in Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues
Experience with Video Conferencing software and hardware
Knowledge and application of Lighting techniques and technology
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including weekends and evenings
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in AV technology is a plus
Experience in the events industry or related field is preferred
