Job Description PowerPay is seeking a motivated Finance/Accounting Analyst to join our fast‑growing FinOps team. In this hybrid role (2 days remote, 3 days in office), you will support daily operations and monthly accounting tasks while contributing to the organization’s growth in an independent, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Perform daily funding activities.
Handle loan refunds, cancellations, and close loans in our loan system.
Assist with reconciliation of balance‑sheet accounts.
Support accounting month‑end tasks.
Compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete.
Verify the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings related to business transactions recorded by other staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; equivalent experience (4+ years) acceptable if aligned with duties.
Sense of urgency and deadline‑driven.
Excellent communication skills across departments.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Team‑player mindset.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
QuickBooks experience is a plus.
Nortridge Loan Systems experience is a plus.
Physical Demands / Work Environment
Office environment with extensive computer use.
