Advancing Real Change (ARC), Inc. is seeking an Operations Coordinator for its office in Jacksonville, FL. The Operations Coordinator will provide critical support to several program and administrative areas, helping ARC to build capacity and actively pursue its strategic goals. This is not a remote position.

What we offer The salary for this position is between $52,000 and $57,000. Benefits include an employer contribution toward health and dental coverage (can be applied to our group plan premium or received as a taxed stipend) and employer contributions to a SIMPLE IRA retirement plan. ARC, Inc. will also cover expenses related to professional development opportunities. Our leave policy includes no annual limit on, or pay deductions for, time off. It is our hope that staff members use this time to balance periods that require extensive and sustained work.

2 or more years of administrative or operations experience, preferably in a non-profit setting

The Operations Coordinator is a full-time position based in ARC, Inc.’s office in Jacksonville, FL. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations, and will work closely with several other members of the management team. The responsibilities of the position include:
Executive Support
Aids in prioritizing and streamlining Executive Director activities across multiple departmental areas.
Assisting with scheduling ensure the most effective use of travel for casework, outreach, and training activities
Responding to general correspondence about the work of the organization, referral requests, and upcoming events
Performing supportive tasks such as printing and copying, mailing, and filing in the context of casework, training, outreach, and administrative functions
Event Coordination
Plans successful, cost-effective events to engage diverse stakeholders.
Working with venues and other vendors for in-person events
Obtaining quotes and estimates for event-related purchasing
Coordinating with departments to ensure ARC messaging is present and consistent
Communicating with attendees and presenters regarding logistical issues, including trouble-shooting and reducing barriers to participation
Capacity-building
Enables ARC to increase collaboration locally and nationally.
Identifying and coordinating volunteers, including one-time and ongoing roles, as well as individual and group activities
Maintaining ARC’s database of various stakeholders, including training participants, donors, volunteers, and others
Engaging with relevant local service providers and advocacy groups
Reporting on outreach activity to inform management decision-making
Organizational Engagement
Participates as a full member of the ARC, Inc. team.
Knowing and adhering to all organization policies and procedures
Serving as the administrative point of contact for the Jacksonville office
Fully and enthusiastically participating in team meetings and events
Supporting ARC staff in events, initiatives, and other tasks as requested by management, including occasionally taking on a leadership role in local initiatives
