Rate of pay. Worker Certified, $30.00/hr and Supervisor Certified, $35.00/hr.
Responsibilities
Abatement workers remove asbestos and lead containing building materials from homes or businesses, particularly after customers have experienced a water or fire damage
The work involves cleaning and demolition activities while wearing personal protective equipment in a contained work environment
Flexible scheduling. Work typically starts at 7:30. End times vary, night, weekend and overtime are required as needed.
Constructing containment areas prior to beginning abatement or decontamination work
Removing hazardous building materials from surfaces, structures, or equipment using hand or power tools
Cleaning work areas, tools and equipment
Loading or unloading materials or waste into containers or onto trucks
Driving and navigating company vehicles
Performing Air sampling onsite, then delivering to Laboratory
Execute asbestos abatement in a timely manner following proper protocol and scope of work.
