This Opportunity:

Complete detailed design for airport infrastructure projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, buildings, and utilities

Draft and develop project plan sheets using AutoCAD and Civil 3D

Prepare construction documents such as plans, specifications, and supporting technical materials

Support project estimation and budgeting activities

Participate in construction observation and field engineering for airport projects throughout the Midwest

Assist Professional Engineers and Project Managers with project scoping, task hour allocations, schedules, fee proposals, and state and federal grant applications and management

Coordinate work activities, support project team responsibilities, and provide regular project status updates

Build a strong understanding of current airport design standards, regulations, and industry procedures

Work effectively in an empowered, collaborative team environment while maintaining individual accountability

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

Experience in civil engineering or a related discipline

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and CAD design tools

Ability to travel occasionally for team meetings, client consultations, onsite inspections, and related project needs; occasional overnight travel may be required

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in airport infrastructure projects or related field

Compensation and benefits:

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $65,000 and $76,000 based on skill set and experience. Check out our full benefits package at SEH Hiring Journey.

Due to current business and operational considerations, unable to hire employees residing in AK, AR, CA, CT, DE, HI, KY, MA, RI, VT, and PR.
