The University Finance and Administration (UFA) organization manages the university’s central financial, administrative, and student information systems.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify reporting needs and document functional requirements.

Translate reporting requirements into clear technical specifications in collaboration with OIT and end-users.

Develop and maintain ERP reports using Oracle ERP reporting tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, OAC, Smart View, or FRS; support dashboard needs as required.

Maintain documentation and knowledge of data flow within Oracle ERP and Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) systems and integration across modules (e.g., General Ledger, Projects (PPM), Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management).

Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and testing to ensure accuracy and reliability of report outputs.

Understand and review business processes and translate them into BI reporting solutions.

Manage and prioritize incoming report requests using Jira/ServiceNow to ensure timely resolution.

Perform testing of reports during Oracle quarterly updates to ensure continued functionality.

Maintain report documentation, folder structures, and security settings.

Troubleshoot reporting errors, data issues, and access problems; escalates technical issues when appropriate.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience developing financial or operational reports in a complex organizational environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Hands‑on experience with Oracle suite of reporting tools (BI Publisher, OTBI, OAC, Smart View, and Oracle SQL).

Proficiency with Oracle BI Developer (BI Publisher Template Builder) for designing and editing report templates.

Proficiency in SQL (Oracle SQL preferred).

Understanding of financial data, chart of accounts, and ERP data structures.

Experience with report testing, documentation, data validation, and troubleshooting.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in higher education or public sector institutions.

Experience developing and maintaining Tableau reports.

Experience integrating or validating data across multiple ERP modules or systems.

Experience using Oracle Cloud Financials (ERP and HCM) modules, e.g., PPM, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management.

Oracle ERP experience.

MS Office, including Excel.

Salary and Benefits Salary Range: $94,492 – $144,715 (Grade 07). Final offer determined by qualifications, experience, and department funding.
