Responsibilities
Prepare a wide variety of baked goods—cakes, cookies, pies, bars, puddings, buttercreams—according to recipes and SOPs.
Lead the team in mixing, baking, building, decorating, and inscribing products efficiently.
Assign daily production tasks and ensure completion.
Maintain food safety standards in preparation, handling, and storage.
Assist with guest order processing to support daily operations.
Operate and maintain bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, sheeters, multi‑compartment sink/dishwasher, and grease traps.
Ensure accuracy of orders and product quality, including taste and aesthetics.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and overproduction.
Perform opening and closing shifts as scheduled.
Perform dishwasher duties when needed.
Assist and train culinary team members as directed by the General Manager.
Support the guest service team with guests as needed.
Leadership Attributes

High ethical standards and personal integrity with guests and team members.
Qualifications
Two years of culinary experience, pastry experience strongly preferred.
Ability to safely operate all bakery equipment.
Attention to detail.
Cross‑functional work flexibility (front‑of‑house & back‑of‑house).
Adaptability to a flexible schedule based on business needs.
Reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements
Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and overhead reaching.
Able to stand for extended periods.
Can lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must taste products for quality assurance (e.g., buttercream, cake batter, cookie dough).
Education
Culinary degree preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.
Language Skills
Must speak, read, and write English for safety purposes.
Other
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
