Responsibilities The role of the pharmacist is to provide pharmaceutical care to Mercy Medical Center patients, in compliance with federal, state, and professional mandates, as well as hospital and department policies and procedures. The population served by the pharmacist consists of inpatients and outpatients, including adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
Requirements Education and Work Experience
Must possess a high school diploma or GED
Must possess a BS or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
Previous hospital pharmacy experience for a minimum of one year preferred, but not required.
Previous oncology pharmacy experience for a minimum of one year preferred, but not required.
Specific Requirements License Requirements
Must be licensed as a registered Pharmacist in Maryland and maintain all necessary continuing education credits and requirements.
