Key Responsibilities
Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for residents
Help patients improve mobility, strength, flexibility, and function
Encourage and motivate patients during therapy sessions
Provide education to patients and families on exercises and at‑home care
Monitor and document patient progress and communicate with the care team
Contribute to care planning and treatment modifications as needed
Promote wellness and injury prevention within the resident population
Ensure all therapy services are delivered in accordance with facility protocols and regulations
What We're Looking For
Associate’s Degree from an accredited PTA program
Current PTA license in the state of Ohio
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, compassionate, and patient‑centered
Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
Experience in skilled nursing or long‑term care settings
Knowledge of evidence‑based therapy practices
Familiarity with electronic documentation system – Net Health
