13‑week temporary contract
No block scheduling; every other weekend rotation required
Schedule Options
Night Shift: 7 pm–7 am, every other weekend
Day Shift: 7 am–7 pm, every other weekend
Pay Rate
$60 per hour
Responsibilities
Administer all respiratory care modalities, including invasive and non‑invasive mechanical ventilation, inhaled medication, medical gases, humidity therapy, and airway management.
Perform bronchial hygiene/airway clearance and, when applicable, chest tube management (NICU only).
Manage blood gas testing and intra‑hospital transport.
Provide comprehensive patient assessments, apply clinical pathways, and interpret data for evidence‑based recommendations.
Document clinical care, manage electronic health records, handle billing, and perform hand‑offs.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
Florida license required.
BLS, PALS, and NRP certification required.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
Experience in a children’s hospital.
Employment Type
Full‑time, temporary, 13‑week contract.
