Vehicle Acquisition Specialist (High-Volume Buying Team) Acquisitions Dept. purchasing 85–90 vehicles per month
We’re hiring a vehicle acquisition specialist to join a fast-moving, established buying operation. This is a role for someone with solid automotive instincts, strong follow-up habits, and the ability to work independently while staying aligned with the team.
We run a professional department with clear expectations and support. You’ll have autonomy in your day, and you’ll be trusted to execute.
Responsibilities:
Source and purchase vehicles through multiple channels (customers, inbound leads, online, etc.)
Evaluate vehicles quickly and accurately (market value, condition, recon impact, demand)
Negotiate purchases confidently and professionally
Follow up consistently and close deals
Coordinate with managers and team members to keep paperwork clean, accurate, and moving
Buying/Purchasing of vehicles
Basic Sales Understanding
Knowledge in basic negotiation skills
Ability to take rejection and not allow it to affect one's mindset
Qualifications:
Automotive knowledge (basic trim/market/condition awareness and the ability to learn fast)
Negotiation ability and comfort having real conversations
Ability to handle rejection and stay productive
Strong communication and follow-through with customers and teammatesProfessional appearance and demeanor
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Excel proficiency is a plus
Self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit preferred
Ready to waste no time on learning new product in’s and out’s, eager to improve
Phenomenal communication skills with customers and team members
Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
Excel proficiency preferred
