Major Duties & Responsibilities
Welcome customers and set clear expectations.
Custom‑fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses.
Act as a leader in optical acumen.
Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
Assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
Accurately use technology under time pressure, leveraging comprehensive product knowledge and the appropriate tools.
Proactive problem‑solving to exceed customer expectations and ensure satisfaction.
Multi‑task, prioritize and manage time with competing priorities.
Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies.
Maintain store appearance, keeping the environment clean, attractive and organized.
Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
Resourceful, self‑motivated, with a desire for continual learning and improvement.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions and inventory management.
Basic Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent.
State licensure.
Optical dispensing experience.
Strong customer‑service skills: communicator, listener and team builder.
Knowledge of current store merchandise.
Strong basic math skills.
Awareness of current fashion trends.
Sales skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet.
Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators.
Embrace new technology and change.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous customer‑service and retail experience.
Pay Range 23.97 – 37.39 per hour
