The Azure DevOps Engineer is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and automating on-premises and Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, scalability, and security across development, testing, and production environments. This role involves managing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, and supporting containerization and microservices deployments while adhering to best practices in security and automation.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and maintain on-premises and Azure cloud infrastructure for optimal performance and security.

Deploy integrated or standalone releases across multiple interconnected applications.

Use industry-standard tools to improve and accelerate product and service delivery.

Provide proactive issue resolution for builds in production environments.

Automate development and test environments, deployment processes, and test data management.

Develop tool integrations for end-to-end traceability from requirements to code changes.

Maintain and automate infrastructure provisioning and configurations.

Manage CI/CD development, support, and troubleshooting for Compute, Storage, and Network components.

Establish workflows for automated pipelines for CI/CD.

Manage source code repositories, branching, merging, and conflict resolution.

Develop and automate application deployments to non-production and production environments.

Utilize Azure DevOps components including Repos, Pipelines, and Artifacts.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience with automation and orchestration tools (Azure, Terraform, Jenkins, Git, etc.).

Proven experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.

Hands‑on experience managing and provisioning Azure services.

Advanced knowledge of Azure Portal and services including AKS, Azure AD, App Service, Application Gateway, VPN Gateway, WAF, and Azure Front Door.

Experience with APIs, Webservices, XML, JSON, and Terraform.

Working knowledge of networking (LAN, WAN, DNS, routing, firewall, load balancer) and system monitoring.

Knowledge of information security best practices (certificates, encryption).

Experience in containerization and microservices.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Azure AD app registration, OAuth 2.0, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Durable Functions, and APIM experience.

Terraform experience is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Azure DevOps components (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts).
