Imagix Dental of Hickory Flat is looking for a Dental Assistant in Woodstock, Georgia to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.
Position Overview As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of the care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Support our mission to provide excellent dental care in the community and help us create more smiles and memorable experiences. Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience to be considered.

Responsibilities
Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care.
Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X‑rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake as needed.
Help dentist manage emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and emergency supplies.
Qualifications
Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program.
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant qualification – required.
One year of on‑the‑job experience.
X‑ray certification – required.
Nitrous Oxide certification highly recommended.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Dental Assistants are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
