Responsibilities
Administer nursing care to patients with efficiency, safety, and courtesy, following established nursing procedures.
Apply comprehensive understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan to assess and interpret critical patient data.
Recognize disease processes, symptoms, and potential complications, ensuring patient needs are met in alignment with unit policies and procedures.
Leverage information technologies to provide evidence‑based knowledge at the point of care, driving improved health outcomes and enhancing patient experience.
Qualifications
Nursing Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Associate degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
Current Colorado Registered Nurse licence (or compact licence, Colorado licence to be obtained within first 90 days).
Current BLS, PALS (within six months of hire; 12 months if new graduate), and ACLS (within six months of hire; 12 months if new graduate) certifications.
Completion of an EKG course within four months of hire.
Language Skills:
Fluent verbal and written English; additional languages preferred; excellent customer‑service skills.
Technical & Communication Skills:
Basic computer knowledge; strong communication skills.
